General Anxiety Disorder

Q1: Patient with normal physical and normal labs. She is always worried about her life, family, friends, and job performance. She says she has difficulty concentrating at work and school, also she is always tired and she reports difficulty sleeping. What is the most appropriated pharmaco-therapy for long-term?
A1: Buspirone. It is not a benzodiazepine, no tolerance, no dependence, no alcohol  interaction.
